About you

A great opportunity has arisen within our team for a Front End AEM Engineer. You’ll work in a highly collaborative way to drive efforts to create, build, support and improve our frontend client software working closely with the product and engineering teams with lots of exciting new challenges.

  • Specialist in AEM including DAM, Adobe Target, and Adobe Analytics
  • Extensive experience of JavaScript
  • Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling, such as Reactjs, Redux, Webpack
  • Commanding grasp of HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
  • Experience on Front-End test automation
  • Familiarity with server-side REST APIs and JSON

You’ll have a broad understanding across AEM related domains (including Target, Analytics and Digital Asset Management), SEO and Web Performance, exposure to git & GitHub, Jenkins, strong DevOps capabilities, Cloud, Jira, Confluence.

 

Key Capabilities

  • Build efficient and reusable front-end systems and abstractions
  • Find and address performance issues.
  • Identify general improvements and implement front-end standard methodologies.
  • Collaborate with the product/design team to iterate the design function and implement the products
  • Collaborate with Backend and DevOps Engineers to build features and experiments

What essential skills we’re looking for

  • A ‘great teammate’ who can build relationship and work efficiently with others across a variety of domains, disciplines, and locations
  • Someone who is passionate about technology and its application to real-world problems
  • Strong Computer Science fundamentals
  • Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations
  • Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, specifically with a range of stakeholders.

You’re passionate about technology and its application to real-world problems, such as software automation and delivery; and you’ll bring the right mind-set to the role.

Salary and Benefits package includes: £68, 139 – £75, 710 base salary, 4% flexible benefit cash pot to spend on benefits (or take as cash), a generous employer pension contribution up to 15%, 30 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays, discretionary variable annual performance bonus and private medical health cover, share schemes and access to staff discounts!
