POSITION SUMMARY: 

MRI Software is seeking a Infosec Manager to join our team in Newcastle! This individual will be responsible for leading the daily functions of the Infosec team globally.  This team has individuals based in the UK, USA and India.

Part of Global IT Function working with senior IT leadership to secure all our systems both internal and customer facing.
Working with Development and Operational teams to further drive security improvements into our processes and designs
Engaging with our Infosec suppliers to ensure best responses and service
Co-ordinating and potentially performing our Penetration tests
Working with our Governance, Regulatory and Compliance teams on global security policies and documents
Helping feedback on security questionnaires and customer questions

Essential Functions Include:

Team Management of several individuals with different security focuses across our business.
Refresh our Penetration test schedule ensuring the correct scopes, testers, and timescales are implemented
Owner of the Security Incident Response process
Contribute vision and leadership consistent with the MRI’s IT strategic plans and objectives to deliver security technology initiatives in support of the growth of the organization
Engage with the Product Development teams and IT Architecture (Cloud and DC Platforms) to drive security improvements, maintaining and building on current standards.
Manage the Security suppliers that the Infosec engage with to drive value from the relationships and spend.
Ensure security is the cornerstone of the designs, services, and implementations
Be the lead representative for unique challenges and needs of Infosec across the Globe
 

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

10 plus years’ experience within IT and 5 years’ experience Infosec experience preferably in a leader role
Certified Penetration Tester (CPT)
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to inspire a team to achieve great things
Execution: Demonstrated ability to take concrete actions to deliver and inspire
Strong skills in communication, leadership, planning, motivation, coaching and cross team collaboration
Excellent Documentation skills
Collaborator with Problem Solving, ‘Can-do’ Mindset and a client centric focus
Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud native systems and services as well as traditional Datacenters
Rapid7, Trend and Microsoft experience a plus
