Location: London

Salary & Benefits: £61, 176 – £76,470 (depending on experience) base salary, plus annual discretionary personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution (maximum amount when you put in 6%), 4% flexible cash pot (option to use across range of benefits), private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

About the team

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Consumer Servicing Value Stream for a Scrum Master.

Consumer Servicing will give you the opportunity to work in a fun dynamic team who are at the forefront of leading the way for customers and colleagues in transforming and digitising the Lloyds Banking Group Retail Bank across mobile, branch, telephony and internet banking.

Confident, highly motivated and with a passion for working with people, the Scrum Master role is responsible for supporting teams to deliver their best work, improving facilitation of change and managing the prioritisation of the backlog.

What you’ll do

  • As a Scrum Master you’ll operate collaboratively, be a change pioneer with a passion for working to help people and teams deliver their best work.

  • You’ll improve facilitation of change, using your broad understanding and application of agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.

  • You’ll facilitate and help the team to become self-organised and focused on delivering the outcome for the customer.

  • Working with the Team Product Owner to support the prioritisation of the backlog, you’ll train and mentor to help maximise the value created by the Team.

  • Support the Lab Coach when coaching Lab Leaders to understand agility through flow principles

  • Act as facilitator of scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand ups, retrospectives)

  • Highly motivated self-starter, comfortable offering mentorship and leadership, both individually and at team/squad levels.

  • Passionate about Agile principles and enthusiastic to embed them across the organisation.

  • Loves coaching and supporting people to embrace changes to their way of working.

  • Confident delivering formal and informal training.

  • Calm, confident, communication style.

  • A continuous improvement attitude and dedication to finding new ways of working.

What about the technical stuff?

  • Qualified Scrum Master with demonstrable skills and proven capability of agile application frameworks and scrum techniques, particularly Scrum and Kanban.

  • You’ll have come from either financial services or large corporate environment.

  • Proven experience influencing behaviour cross-team and cross-discipline

  • Ability to brainstorm with team members on solutions to address challenges and roadblocks.

  • Proven experience influencing behaviour cross-team and cross-discipline without having formal organisational hierarchy.

  • Experience/certification on Scaling Agile (SAFe, LeSS etc) desirable.

  • Advanced Scrum master certification desirable.
