Senior Talent Management Consultant: Data & Analytics

Bristol, London or Edinburgh (hybrid working pattern, 1-2 days per week in office & rest from home)
Salary & Benefits: £65,288 to £122,410 base salary, depending on location and experience.
Additional Package: Annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution (when you put in 6%), 4% flexible cash allowance, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Where does the role sit?
We’re the Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) within Lloyds Banking Group!
Our mission is to promote, embed and commercialise Data & Analytics practice and culture across Lloyds Banking Group.
What exactly would you focus on as a Senior Talent Management Consultant?
The overarching aim will be to create brilliant career path maps for emerging careers within data & analytics to support the groups data strategy. For example, how to progress through a career within Data Science, Machine Learning Software Engineering, Data Management and a wide variety of others!
This will support existing and new staff as they develop through their careers with Lloyds, helping to improve the great culture we have and provide satisfaction through clear career progression pathways. We also encourage retraining, lateral moves, backwards moves to support big life changes & complete career changes!
Our data teams comprising 4000 – 5000 staff within data management, data science, analytics, reporting, machine learning & all the multidisciplinary staff in our data communities.
You’ll report into the Head of Data Culture and we have the executive support plus financial backing to lead the industry in ‘what good looks like’ in this space. You’ll work with senior leadership across the group.
You’ll naturally link in with our learning & development needs, identifying future skills for the bank and putting in place skills matrix plus learning paths for each role type.
You’ll create and curate industry leading content that educates, informs and inspires our data and analytics practitioners.
You’ll shape, plan and deliver comprehensive partnerships and internal events strategy, engaging with and building a strong knowledge sharing network across the Group.
You’ll play an active role in the the Data Culture leadership team -enabling and supporting the wider team with their delivery.
You’ll lead a small team of 1-2 others to begin with.
What do we need to see from your application?
We’re keen to see diverse and varied applications, however as this is a critical role for us we need to see the following experience within your CV’s to consider you for interview;
Significant experience of developing career pathways from scratch, covering as many of the tasks we discuss above in this advert.
Knowledge specific to data and analytics, including a basic understanding of the role types which exist within this field such as Data Management, Analytics, Data Science & Machine Learning.
Learning & Development experience – skills analysis, data learning/training solutions
Experience operating at scale within a large corporate environment.
Experience working at a senior management level, including being comfortable engaging a wide range of stakeholders at head of / director level.
Ability to think outside of the box, introducing new ways of working to deliver initiatives innovatively and creatively.
We appreciate this is not a common role, so perhaps you are a L&D manager with a background within Data, or perhaps you are a senior manager within Data who has focused on career path development. Maybe you’re an experience Talent Management/Recruitment professional. We’re happy to consider anyone with good experience of all the desired tasks.
