Location: London based, hybrid working with 2 days per week in the office.

Salary & Benefits: £72,647 to £80,294 base salary, plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution (when you put in 6%), 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Onboarding and Customer Comms Personalisation Lab will give you the opportunity to work in a lively, dynamic team who are leading the way for customers and colleagues in transforming and digitising the Lloyds Banking Group Retail Bank. About the role:

A great opportunity has arisen within our team for a Front End AEM Engineer. You’ll work in a highly collaborative way to drive efforts to create, build, support and improve our frontend client software working closely with the product and engineering teams with lots of exciting new challenges. You’ll be a core contributor to ensure good quality and engineering practices are followed in accordance with engineering transformation strategy.

Key Capabilities:

  • Build efficient and reusable front-end systems and abstractions

  • Find and address performance issues plus Root Cause Analysis

  • Identify general improvements and implement front-end standard methodologies

  • Collaborate with the product/design team to iterate the design function and implement the products

  • Collaborate with Backend and DevOps Engineers to build features and experiments

About You:

  • A ‘great teammate’ who can build relationships and work productively with others across a variety of domains, disciplines and locations

  • Someone who is passionate about technology and its application to real-world problems

  • Strong Computer Science fundamentals

  • Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations

  • Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, specifically with a range of stakeholders

What we need from you:

  • Experience with creating and maintaining workflows in AEM

  • Professional experience working in AEM version 6.5

  • Broad understanding across Adobe Experience Cloud (Assets, Sites, Target, Analytics)

  • Experience and understanding of Digital Asset Management (DAM)

  • Exposure to git & GitHub, Jenkins, strong DevOps capabilities, Cloud

  • Experience of Adobe Cloud Manager and Adobe Admin Console

  • Exposure with modern JavaScript libraries/tooling, such as Reactjs, Redux, Webpack

  • Experience in development using various Web technologies (e.g. like JS, AJAX, CSS, HTML5, React, Ember, Angular)

  • Experience on Front-End test automation

It would be great if you had:

  • Familiarity with server-side REST APIs and JSON

  • AEM as a Cloud Service experience beneficial

  • Experience in Servlet and JSP/HTL development, Touch UI

  • Experience with MAVEN, Apache Sling and Apache Felix

  • Able to create a custom OSGI configuration and JCR queries

  • Understanding of AEM users/user groups and permissions

  • AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) developer certification
