Salary & Benefits: The base salary banding for this role is £61,176 – £84,117 in London and £52,912 to £72,754 outside of London plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution, 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Who are Lloyds Banking Group and where does this role sit?

We’re currently engaged in a programme to transform and migrate a collection of legacy on-premise CRMs into the Microsoft SaaS Cloud. This is a hugely ambitious technical and business transformation.

We have an excellent opportunity to join our Engineering Core Platforms team as a CRM Software Engineer, delivering solutions to Lloyds Banking Group business areas. The Software Engineer CRM role is a great blend of technical skills and business acumen; CRM done well can transform a business. This will suit a driven individual who has both technical and business skills. The aim is to deliver the highest quality customer focused software whilst continually challenging, motivating, mentoring, and supporting their engineering teams, whilst working in customer-centric cross-disciplinary teams.

You’ll be a self-motivated and proactive teammate who has an eye on the bigger picture but can apply laser focus to ensure delivery. You’re up for the challenge of working on a large, sophisticated programme that will drive significant change across our business. You’ll enjoy storytelling, look to identify associations and gaps, ask the questions others don’t, drive out clarity from ambiguity and be able to challenge the norm to drive business outcome. You’ll demonstrate thought-leadership, encourage positive change, and have the technical ability and drive to deliver those aspirations.

Technical skills we need to see from applicants?

  • Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics CRM D365 on-premise

  • Skilful in Microsoft Evergreen D365 SaaS CRM and Microsoft Power Platform

  • Experience of integrating Microsoft Cloud SaaS Service with on-premise data sources and integrating Microsoft Exchange with CRMs

  • Experience of enterprise distribution of the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook

  • Understanding commercial impact of technical options.

Other Desirable Skills

  • Ability to understand business MI requirements and collaborate with colleagues to prototype MI dashboards (using either inbuilt CRM Dashboard capability or integrating Power BI)

  • Experience articulating difficult technical issues to business colleagues or non-technical colleagues

  • Able to collaborate with business colleagues and quickly prototype CRM User Interface prototypes using CRM Dev Environments as a Rapid Application Development tool.
